I love capturing all the different stages of our son’s life as he changes, literally every day. He’s so much work but also a huge blessing and I can’t imagine life without him! I was home watching him today and decided to document how he looks during this short stage. Here is the result of one of the pictures…there are so many great ones but I don’t have time tonight to post them all!

I also wanted to post the original photo straight out of the camera, before any editing. It’s a common misconception that buying a nice camera makes you a good photographer, hopefully I can squash that theory with these photos…hehe

After church, a big group of us went to a small Mexican restaurant called Tequilas in downtown Yakima. The restaurant is actually made up of bunch of old train boxcars that are pieced together and turned into a restaurant. I wanted to try out my new Nikon 50mm f/1.4G AF-S that I bought last week so I had some fun while waiting for our food. I wanted to take pictures of everyone, but our son Landon and his friend Bella stole the show ;0)
