Seaside Oregon!

May 26, 2009

Here are a few shots from our mini-vacation to Seaside, Oregon! Sorry we haven’t been updating the blog lately, we’ve been so slammed that it’s been almost impossible. This next week isn’t as crazy as the last few so hopefully I’ll find some time to post a few of our latest sessions on here. Enjoy!

We had so much fun exploring different parts of town and driving through the country looking for good locations to shoot with Alex and Jessica! The story of how they became friends gave us a great idea, they inspired us to start posting mini bio’s with some of our future blog posts. Here’s a little bit of their story….

Names :: Alex and Jessica

Age :: 18

School :: Eisenhower High School

Graduation Year :: 2009

How did you meet and ultimately become best friends? ::

A couple years ago, we considered each other enemies and did not like each other at all due to preexisting issues some members of our families had with each other. At the time we went to separate schools, but that all changed in September of 2007 when Alex switched schools from Selah to Eisenhower. The move changed everything and made our problems 10 times worse! Walks through the hallways consisted of vulgar looks and disgusted “uggg’s”. Making matters worse between us, I began dating a mutual friend of ours who just so happened to be really close to Alex!

After a while, he became fed up with all the bickering and fighting between the two of us and finally approached Alex about it. He said that he really liked me and that he would appreciate it if his best friend and girlfriend got along. Alex realized that he was right and worked up the courage to send me a message on Myspace. She asked if we could just let the past be the past, and create a new future together as friends. We began hanging out periodically over the next few months…and eventually became inseparable! My family became Alex’s family and vice versa…now we come as a package, you don’t get the J without the A!

Welcome To Our New Blog!

March 25, 2009

I’m always looking for ways to change things and make them new and fresh. I wasn’t quite satisfied with the old blog
so I spent a lot of time creating this one…..I’ll try much harder to keep this one updated! 2009 is stacking up to be a huge year for us so I should be spending a lot of time on here. I’m going to be starting fresh with this blog, so check out my old blog if you want to see any of the old posts. Also, be sure to become a fan of Stone Castle Photography on Facebook. Cheers!
