Kadee Peterson & Kyle’s Engagement Session | Capitol Theatre
December 29, 2009

Had a blast yesterday at the Wenatchee Bridal Premiere! 2010-01-17
Too many seniors end up with substandard pictures because they think that mom, dad, uncle bob, friend, aunt etc. can take their senior pictures because they have a “really nice camera.” The camera doesn’t matter! You have to put together all the ingredients to get the pictures you want. Here are a few “must haves” if you want great pictures…
#1 Equipment (not just the camera)
#2 EXPERIENCE (NFL players don’t make the team because they have a really nice football, they must have experience!)
#3 Post-Processing (The most expensive camera in the world can’t give you great pictures without someone to finish the job)

kira: Nice and so true!
Tim Bentz: Right on! Very true...
Hey Everyone!
I have REALLY enjoyed blogging! It takes a little time getting used to putting your thoughts into words but it’s been a lot of fun for me. :)
We shot these pictures at the Linden Tree Park in Wenatchee. And I have to say it was a beautiful area. Of all the times we’ve been to Wenatchee (which has been a lot), I had never heard of this park.
Starla and Bob are an amazing couple and perfect for each other! We had so much fun getting to know them! Here’s some of the pictures from their engagement session and their wedding photos are soon to follow! Enjoy!

I had SUCH a hard time choosing my favorite images to put on the blog post. They were all so good!! Kayla and Derek got married last week and we had a blast shooting their wedding as well as this engagement session! They showed up as a 50’s couple and I have to say it was probably one of our favorite engagement sessions we’ve done. They are truly an amazing couple with tons of spunk!
We’ve been SOO busy that we got very behind with posting pictures on our blog so I took the blog over and will now be trying to update this as much as possible. I’m not much of a blogger but this is giving me tons of practice :)

It’s crazy to think that summer is already over and that school is in full swing again. Back to the busy schedules…with sports practice and homework, not to mention the busy traffic in the mornings.
Senior sessions are some of the most exciting sessions we get to do! Seniors have such a zeal and care-free attitude that allows us to be creative and have fun. Naomi was a perfect example of why we love doing them. She’s such a sweetheart and was easy to work with! Here’s some of our favorites from her session.

Wow…it was so much fun celebrating Dani & Tyson’s big day with them! They couldn’t have picked a better location! We were just feet away from the Columbia River in Crescent Bar. We had a hard time choosing which pictures to post to the blog so we went overboard and posted more than normal. One of my favorite parts of the wedding was the exchange of gifts. Dani opened her new pearl necklace and Tyson got a new Mossberg shotgun! The shotgun made for some great pictures (and strange looks from bystanders). We beat the heat and were able to capture some fun memories, hope you enjoy them!

Dani Goodwin: Phil!! I love the wedding pics so far!! Amazing!! You do great work..thank you so much for capturing our big day :)
Sarah Hyndman: Excellent pics of thier big day, Phil! God's blessed you both with such talent. Truly a wonderful gift!
Savannah Patrick: WOW! What a gift you have. If I EVER need or know of anyone I am sending or coming your way. Amazing work! Good job you guys!! :)
Emily & Mac held their wedding at Westside Baptist Church followed by a beautiful reception at the Yakima Valley Museum. They were so friendly and were a pleasure to work with. Here are a few shots from their wedding!

We were excited to find out that the Yakima Valley Bride Magazine featured one of our photos on the cover and 2 separate weddings inside! We would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Yakima Valley Bride. Become a fan of their publication on Facebook here!

We always love being challenged, and Emily & Mac gave us a great opportunity. They flew in to Yakima from North Carolina 5 days before the wedding. Their engagement session was shot 2 days before the wedding and all editing had to be completed the day of the shoot! It was actually pretty fun doing something out of the ordinary. Here are a few of our favorites from their engagement session!
